Vintage Collectibles, Mid Century Venetian Murano Glass Lamp

A Barovier and Toso small accent finger lamp. A hard-to-find handcrafted lamp that is beautifully mounted on an exquisitely detailed brass base which has a nice patina. The workmanship on this accent lamp is of the highest quality. I believe this piece is from the ’Cordonato Oro’ range. Very similar pieces can be seen in the book ’Italian Glass’ by Leslie Pina, pages 31 - 32. The controlled bubble effect is in a perfectly swirled pattern throughout this piece of art glass. This finger lamp has a substantial weight. Personally, I like the pull chain feature adds to the charm and uniqueness. The electrical cord on this lamp has been rewired because the original cord was too frayed and unsafe for use. This finger lamp is ready for your use. Lamp measures 13 inches high from the bottom of base to the top of finial. Excellent condition. In a stunning combination of crystal clear cased glass, with loads of gold leaf and controlled bubbles encased in the glass.
