Clarice Cliff was born in Tunstall, Staffordshire, England, in 1899. In 1925 Clarice Cliff had the opportunity to start her own studio at the newly purchased Newport Pottery. This stunning light green colored glaze vase reads: Clarice Cliff England. # 912 Newport Pottery Co. England. This vase is a stunning piece of pottery with thickly applied floral pattern. This vase is in excellent condition with minimal (normal signs of showing it's age) crazing throughout. Clarice Cliff pottery is hand painted. Measures: 7 inches high.
